We offer a variety of alteration services, including hemming, taking in or letting out garments, zipper repairs, buttons, and more. If you’re not sure whether we can alter something, bring it in and we’ll be happy to take a look.

No! We are open during our regular business hours regardless of how busy the day is. As a family-owned and operated business, we’re committed to being here when our customers need us.

Our standard turnaround time is 2 days.

• Items dropped off Monday before 4 PM will be ready Wednesday after 3 PM.
• Items dropped off Monday after 4 PM will be ready Thursday after 3 PM.

The same 4 PM cutoff applies throughout the week.

Please note that alterations and other specialty items may require additional time. If you need your items by a specific date, just let us know when you drop them off, and we’ll be happy to do our best to accommodate your timeline. 

We can treat many different types of stains. However, some stains may be permanent depending on the type of stain, the fabric, and how long the stain has been there. We’ll inspect the garment and use the appropriate cleaning process.

Yes. We handle delicate garments and special-care items and will review the care label before determining the best cleaning method. 

Yes, we can help with many types of formalwear, including wedding dresses. Because these garments often require special handling, we recommend bringing them in so we can discuss the best cleaning and preservation options. 

Yes, we clean a variety of household and oversized items. Bring the item in and we can let you know what options are available. 

Yes, zipper repairs and replacements are among the alterations and repair services we offer. 

Yes. We can make many adjustments to suits, dresses, pants, jackets, and other garments. The best way to know what can be done is to bring the garment in for an assessment. 

For many alterations, you can simply bring your clothing into the shop. For more complicated alterations or special occasions, you’re welcome to contact us beforehand so we can make sure we have enough time to help you. 

 We always do our best to remove stains, but unfortunately, no cleaning process can guarantee that every stain will come out. Some stains can permanently affect the fabric or color. We’ll let you know if we see anything that may be difficult to remove. 

 Yes! That's one of the main services we provide. We recommend following the garment's care label so your clothing receives the appropriate cleaning method. 

Yes! We offer same-day and next-day rush service when available.

• Same-day service: A $25 rush fee applies.
• Next-day service: A $10 rush fee applies.

Rush service depends on the garment and the type of cleaning or alteration needed. Please ask us when you drop off your items, and we’ll let you know if we can accommodate your request.

 At this time, we do not offer pickup or delivery services. All items are dropped off and picked up directly at our shop. As a family-owned business, we’re always happy to see you in person and take care of your garments with the attention they deserve.

 The current owners took over the Edmonds location in 2024 and the Bothell location in 2026. Since then, we’ve been proud to continue serving our local communities while bringing our family’s care and commitment to City Dry Cleaners.

Yes! We can clean many vintage and delicate garments. Because older clothing can require special care, we’ll inspect the item and its fabric before determining the safest cleaning method. 

Yes! We clean a variety of uniforms and work clothing. Whether it’s everyday workwear, professional uniforms, or specialty garments, we’ll take care of your items with the proper cleaning process. 

Yes! We clean a variety of household items, including curtains, blankets, comforters, and other specialty items. If you’re unsure whether we can clean something, bring it in and we’ll be happy to take a look. 

Don’t worry! We check the pockets of garments before cleaning. If we find something left behind, we set it aside and make sure it’s returned to you when you pick up your items. We always do our best to make sure nothing gets lost during the cleaning process.
